DIGITAL MEDICAL RECORDS PROCESSING    

 

  • Designed and implemented web application request from Google Health and Microsoft Health Vault
  • Created a comprehensive US Patent application process for acquiring data from various medical sources to submit to health plans and medical records systems.
  • Datawarehouse development interface to NextGen Electronic Medical Record system to present ad-hoc reports.

MEDICAL PRACTICE MANAGEMENT  

 

  • Orchestrated system software development of a Physician Practice Management system, enabling physicians to manage patients, demographics, scheduling and insurance.
  • Designed and implemented Find-A-Doc web application.  Web application design queried St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan, credential database to give patients the ability to find a primary or specialty doctor.
  • Developed web-based health insurance eligibility and referral application system. 
  • Improved patient check-in and office administration 20% by designing three web applications for more than 800 doctors to provide decision support, member eligibility, and patient referral services.
  • Boosted referral response time for authorization efficiencies by developing web and database applications, enabling doctors to use one form for eight different insurance companies.   

 

 

 

DEFENSE CONTRACTING � ERIM (Environmental Research Institute of Michigan, a non-profit corporation)  

 

  • Researched for business development workforce training grants offered by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and other departments of the United States federal government. .
  • Built a virtual enterprise of 26 organizations/subcontractors and the state of Michigan to bid and manage a $20,000,000 Request for Proposal out of DARPA�s Technology Reinvestment Project (TRP).  Served as chief architect and program manager of the technical workforce training project CoNDUIT, which was funded at $20,000,000 in 1994. Provided executive-level computer and technical support and one-on-one training.

  • Led the training effort for the deployment of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains v.10.0, ENCORE Project Tracking & Profitability Analysis, FRx 6.7, and CRM Great Plains. 
  • Used SharePoint server as the project collaboration tool for document archival, schedule keeping, error and bug fix issues and updates, and team training and discussion. 
  • Researched use of Binary Stream Multi-facility Processing software to consolidate multiple international Great Plains databases into one unified company   

 

 

 

CELLULAR PHONE REFURB-MANUFACTURING & SALES 

 

  • Set up user requirements for an executive business intelligence dashboard using Great Plains 9.0, SQL 2000 data warehouse, and Centerview Corda for actual dashboard prototype build. 
  • Assisted CIO with the analysis and fit of dashboard software and selected Centerview Corda for touch-based, interactive mobile BI. 
  • Conducted the analysis of key top management users� key performance indicators (KPIs) to include in the prototype dashboard to enable the build of appropriate report presentation layers needed by top management. 
  • Designed a systems approach for rollout of the enterprise wide dashboards.  
  • Using FRx 6.7, worked with the CFO and Controller to build 2009 financial statements by Business Unit and Product Line. 
  • Utilized Sharepoint Server to log and store all doc sets for the project.     

 

 

 

UTILITIES � ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS  

 

  • Maintenance of  Business Objects SRC, a strategic planning database budgeting tool with an Excel front-end, utilized by the utility company to guide or manage electric company construction work in progress, operations and maintenance, strategic planning, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, performance evaluation (budget to actual monthly project costs) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission reporting. 
  • Technical software support of the construction and asset management functions, where SRC is used by program managers and administrators to coordinate job costing activities associated with the transmission of electricity throughout Michigan and parts of Canada 

 

 

 

INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURING/DISTRIBUTION CENTER 

 

  • Directed a successful Great Plains accounting & MIS systems conversion from DOS-based Great Plains to Great Plains Dynamics e-Commerce, and MaxData Barcode Inventory Control system, reducing inventory shrinkage from 12 to 2% variance from the annual physical count.
  • Worked with strong support of the Chinese absentee owner,implementing Vanguard�s wholesale distribution center�s first sales and expense budgeting process and trained users post- implementation.  
  •  Restructured the Great Plains chart of accounts to map corporate re-organization into profit centers/divisions and modified FRX reports to produce financial statements reflective of bottom line division performance
